Data Request

Request a copy of your data or delete your account

What Data We Store

OxidVPN uses anonymous accounts with no email or personal information required. The only data associated with your account is:

  • Account UUID and creation date
  • Subscription tier (free/pro)
  • Recovery code hash (we cannot see your actual code)
  • Active device sessions (temporary, cleared on disconnect)

We do not store your IP address, browsing history, connection timestamps, DNS queries, or any personally identifiable information.

Data Export

Request a copy of all data associated with your account. We'll send it within 30 days.

Account Deletion

Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone.

How It Works

  1. 1 Submit your request with your Account ID and Recovery Code to prove ownership.
  2. 2 We verify your identity by checking the recovery code against our records.
  3. 3 Data export: We respond within 30 days with a summary of stored data (account UUID, tier, creation date).
  4. 4 Account deletion: We permanently delete your account record within 72 hours. All active sessions are terminated immediately.

You can also delete your account directly from the app (Account → Delete Account) or email privacy@oxidvpn.com.
