Transparency Report

Report period: Q1 2026 (January — March) · Published: March 20, 2026

About This Report

OxidVPN publishes quarterly transparency reports to provide our users with a clear, honest record of how we handle data requests from governments, law enforcement, and third parties. We believe transparency is fundamental to trust.

OxidVPN is incorporated in Panama, outside the Five/Nine/Fourteen Eyes surveillance alliances. We operate RAM-only servers with no activity logs, no connection timestamps, and no IP address storage.

Why We Have Nothing to Provide

  • RAM-only servers — VPN servers run entirely in RAM using tmpfs. No data is ever written to disk. A server reboot erases everything.
  • No activity logs — We do not log browsing activity, connection timestamps, traffic data, DNS queries, or IP addresses.
  • Anonymous accounts — No email or name required. Accounts are identified only by UUID and authenticated with a recovery code.
  • Panama jurisdiction — Panama has no mandatory data retention laws and is outside the Five/Nine/Fourteen Eyes alliances.

Your Data Rights

You have the right to know what data we store about you and to request its deletion. Because OxidVPN uses anonymous accounts, the only data we store is:

  • Account UUID and creation date
  • Subscription tier
  • Recovery code hash (we cannot see your actual code)
  • Active device sessions (cleared on disconnect)

We do not store: your IP address, browsing history, connection logs, DNS queries, bandwidth usage per user, or any personally identifiable information.

Report Schedule

Transparency reports are published quarterly (January, April, July, October). Each report covers the preceding three months. Reports are published within 20 days of the quarter's end.
