How this test works

Latency is the median of 15 round trips, with jitter measured across them — a single cold sample mostly measures connection setup. Download opens 5 parallel streams, throws away the first second while TCP ramps up, and reports the median of the steady-state window.

Throughput is measured against the nearest Cloudflare edge to you, not a general internet destination. Run the test and we'll name the exact edge it used.
